At Crowsnest Pass Senior Housing, we take strict preventive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of our residents and staff in line with AHS directives. For an exhaustive list of COVID-19 precautions taken in the lodge, please refer to the Alberta Government Website.
Please see below for general information about some of our key current procedures:
- Masks and eye protection must be worn by staff at all times.
- Staff and visitors are screened daily for Covid-19 symptoms before entering the Lodge
- Screening information is stored for contact tracing purposes
- Single site staffing has been implemented
- Visitors should be designated family support members and all visitors must wear a mask.
- Masks must be worn by residents when they exit the Lodge. Whilst residents are not restricted from leaving the Lodge, we strongly advice them to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines whilst outside the Lodge and prevent unnecessary outings.
- Group size for recreational activities is limited to the space size in the facility.
- Dining: Residents have chosen to seat separately at individual tables despite the lift of dinning restrictions.
